Skating Into Life
Summary:
Figure skater Andrea Carter, Andi for short, is paired with heart-melter Scott Allen when they're only in elementary school. A slightly serious, insecure girl, Andi is quite taken with her intelligent, open-minded partner; yet she never feels like she could be more than his friend...until he kisses her. From small town competitions, to the US Nationals, to the Olympics, their relationship grows with every step. Through the ups and downs of their career, "Skating Into Life" depicts the tale in her own words, of Andi and Scott's passion for skating, and each other as they move through their lives. Beginning with an awkward practice in a small rink in New Jersey, Andi and Scott's skating will take them only as far as they aspire to go.
