Warmth envelops me as I take a quiet step inside. I smell the small coffee shop counter from the two front doors. Shelves of paperbacks and hardcovers stand around the beautifully lighted store. A nice greeting comes from the cashier. This place reminds me of how much I love books. That wonderful scent of clean crisp wood that paper carries has always been comforting. I walk slowly down the young adult section and read all the summaries on the book backs that catch my attention. I run my fingers gently over the covers and admire the art.
