Title of My Story

It was a night, a night just like the others, but it was the 5th grade concert night. That night was a normal concert night, but something unexpected happened, that night my heart stopped beating for a few moments, but I’m not gonna tell you what happened… So, let me tell you what happened. Like I said, I was at the 5th grade concert night, I was with my friends and I had a lot of fun. We were sitting all the way up the lecture hall, so when we made noise it wouldn’t bother the 5th graders playing their instruments or singing. Also, we had our phones and that’s when the story gets interesting. I have an Iphone with a green case that’s broken, when I mean that I mean destroyed, it has some pieces torn out and some other parts cracked. we were playing on our phones and joking around most of the time but that got a little boring, so we decided to play a game, a dumb one, and that game was dropping our phones and see if it would break or the screen would crack.

Everyone had their turn and it was mine, by the way none of their phone had cracked, so it was my turn. I kept bragging about how my phone would never crack and my case was the best one ever. I thought to myself this is really dumb but meh, here I go and one second later I dropped my phone and, I picked up my phone, slowly, everyone around me was looking very carefully all waiting to see if it was cracked, I knew that if I turned it over and it was cracked everyone would start laughing so hard so couldn’t breathe. I picked up my phone and turned it over. My heart stopped beating for a few moment and… Nope, nothing happened, nothing cracked. good, I was saying to myself: Ooo that wasn’t that bad. So I did it again, dropped my phone on the screen side and that’s the moment I- Nope, nothing either. I did it a few other times. But that time it was fatal, I knew it was over. I released my hand not thinking about anything and that’s when it happened, dropped my phone screen side first, and that’s the moment I realized I dropped it on a metal edge.

That time my heart stopped beating for more than a few seconds, that time was the one everyone experienced at least once in there life when they drop their phones, that time when we all think your phone is cracked and our moms are gonna kill us. But it actually isn’t. Yay, nothing again. I was all happy and I stopped dropping it because I thought this was dumb. I sit back down in the chair all happy and proud of myself and thank my phone for not breaking. I sit back down and, the moment I sit down… That phone, my phone, my life, accidentally slips out of my pocket and cracks.

You might think things will happen the way you want it to, and it might happen as you expected it to, but always watch for the consequences and what might happen in the future, you never know…
