I felt the cold breeze from the sunny day. We were on the docs by our lot; I was right about to jump the far gap to the boat I started to shiver. I started to zone out. I started to think about the one time my dad told me to go on this one waterslide. This wasn't just any waterslide it was the HURRICANE. It felt like we were waiting in line forever. Every minute we were waiting in line my heart beat got bigger and bigger.  My dad started to calm me down, and I thought to myself it will be fine. Then it was our turn to go down I held the handles really tight. Then drop came my but caught air but I sat was still holding on. I was relieved I was alive. Then we got down and it was really fun I thanked him.

Then my dad got a hold of me he said “Get to the boat because it's starting to move.” I thought it wasn't because it wasn't moving but I saw the waves coming.

So I trusted my heart and said “Okay.” I jumped to the boat (I went to the front of the boat). Once I got to the front my dad floored it. It felt like we were going as fast as a plane.

My dad stopped the boat in the bay and he tied the tube tube to the boat. We started to see waves so my dad told my brother and his friend (best friend Michael) to get on the tube. We just missed the waves. As we were going I let my hand dangle from the side of the boat. The cold water rushed between my fingers. Then we stopped because my brothers friend fell off the boat. We were now in the middle of the lake.

My dad yelled “Sit down,” I was starting to get mad. I started to see the waves slowly creep up to the boat. So I followed my heart and sat down. I could see everybodies face drop. Everybody was starting to get worried; they started to scream.  Then the waves came they quickly collapsed SPLASH. The splash was as big as a 10 foot wave. I felt the cold water rush to my knees. It felt like a bunch of fish biting on my legs.

My dad said ‘’Everyone to the back of the boat.’’ I didn't want to because I was already mad, but i did anyways. While I was heading to the back of the boat I could see everyone piled in the back. It looked liked a can of sardines. The boat slowly fell back down BANG. We all jumped off the boat SPLASH. All the kids wrapped the life jackets around them and the parents asked the kids if they were okay. Everyone was okay, but my dad asked me and my brother again if we were okay we said yes. As we were swimming back i was thinking about if anyone could of got hurt or if i didn't get in the back of the boat. I knew I should've trusted my heart.
