Heartless
  From the second I met you, I lost a piece of my heart, and as the days went on, I only kept giving more pieces of my heart to you. But never did I ever receive a piece of yours. I was quickly losing my heart so you could have two. I thought that’s what love was, but I was wrong. Love is mutual, it’s giving your heart away to someone else in exchange for theirs. But never did I receive a piece of your heart, I only lost my own. By the time I had realized this, it was too late. I had already given you my whole heart and all the love it contained. And when you realized that I had nothing left to give, you walked away... with two hearts, as I was left alone with nothing.
  And when I tried to give my heart away to someone else, I couldn’t because my heart had already been long taken away by you.
