Hey, I’m back again….I guess. You know, I’ve met some people online that need serious help. Now, as I say “Help,” I mean the need “help.” I met someone on the internet, I won’t give out names, but let’s call her Jackie. She’s the same age as me, goes to school, and has the average teenager lifestyle. My friend Jackie, has been suffering to major depression. She’s sent me actually pictures of her arms, she’s been cutting for months and months. It was horrific, sad, and upsetting. Isn’t it funny how one person could have so much in their life, they go to drugs, alcohol, and even self-harm themselves! And it’s sad to see that they have a different perspectives as what others that do care have. I’m one of them, I was with her for more like a month. My job was to make her happy, be the friend, be someone that will be there for her. In her life, she has been put up for adoption. She’s actually an Italian girl, she was adopted by a nice family over here. That’s one thing that caused her depression, but one thing that scared her the most was that she was alone. She didn’t know what to feel, what to say, nor what to do. She needed someone to talk to her, understand how she felt. When her adoptive parents found out, they immediately sent her into psychiatric institute. As months turn into years, the bill of each session went up and up. She hated herself for making her adoptive parents pay for everything she’s done. What she didn’t realize is that her parents are doing that because they love her. I know this because, her adoptive dad was talking about personal stuff. I didn’t mean to listen to everything, but I was just there. Her adoptive father is one of the most responsible parent I’ve ever seen. He may not be the biological father, but if he was he would’ve been the best father out there. Being there for someone can make you feel like a hero, I’ve kept my friend Jackie here on this Earth!  I just think it’s crazy that I’m the one, I’ve kept her mind off of actually cutting herself again. I kept it like that for a good while, until we lost connection. Weeks and weeks gone by, she comes back. She was different, way different than the last time I saw her. Something about her was just different, she changed, I mean I’m the one who helped her through her tough times. She just had a whole new personality, she even cut her hair and donated her hair to people with cancer. I created a whole new person, isn’t that crazy? Me and her still remain friends till this day, but we’ll meet soon enough. My whole message is to listen to those who need someone to talk to, you never know what could happen. What I did was just one in a million, it’s the best feeling in the whole world! Help someone, be there for them.
