Thursdays come too fast. I spend all week thinking about Friday, like many of my friends, but by the time it comes I didn’t enjoy my week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday are wishing that Friday would come sooner, but Thursday is me wondering where the week went. Thursday is the worst of all though because Friday is only a few hours, making everything in that day lessened in importance due to the following relief of the weekend. I spend so much time and energy planning my weekend and waiting for school to be out that I don’t notice the privileges I have, like a free education, and the friends around me, or the programs I get to take part in. So for me and for anyone reading this, I’m going to try and not worry about Friday and the weekend but instead make Thursday take as long as possible to arrive and enjoy each day as much as I can.
