My name is Bailey and I’m a Disney geek. My family and I have gone nine times in the past six years, we are even a part of the Disney Vacation Club! So as you might be thinking, I do the same things over and over and that I should be pretty bored with Disney by now. However, I’m not. Disney is a hustle and bustle kind of place, you always take part in something different every time you go. That’s exactly what happened to me, this summer, I got the chance to experience a little thing that Disney geeks call magic. The thing that made this trip so memorable was that I had a chance to witness a little piece of someone else’s magic.

At the moment I had two things on my mind one was Oh my gosh I can’t believe that we are in Disney again, and the other was, oh God after waking up at 4 a.m. and being in the car till noon I must have looked worse than Ezma from The Emperors New Groove.

My family and I had arrived earlier that day and we were checking everything out. My mom and I wandered around the lobby, found the exit to the boardwalk and walked out the doors. The afternoon sun engulfed us and a small breeze kissed our faces with a delightful cool, and the sound of people chattering flooded my ears. We walked down the path to the Boardwalk and were excited by what we saw. There was a flourish of activity such as artists, street performers and people wandering through many shops and restaurants. A nonchalant atmosphere surrounded the whole boardwalk. In a matter of seconds, a wide grin spread over my face as I pointed towards a weathered green telescope. It cost fifty cents for a few minutes. I asked my mom if she had a two quarters, she said yes and plopped them in my hand. I slid the shiny silver coins one at a time into the tarnished slot. I twisted the top part of the scope until everything became clear, and started swiveling the telescope about the base. Suddenly, a cluster of people caught my eye, “What’s going on over there?” I mumbled to myself. I zoomed in, and inspected the situation very closely. There was group of men were wearing black and white tuxedos, and a group of women wearing fancy dresses.  The dresses were yellow, purple, orange, and teal, and all in different styles. Even from where I was standing I could see the sweat glistening on everyone’s foreheads due to the heat. A women wearing a white, strapless, glittery gown, with a bejeweled empire waist stood out out of everyone there. She had coffee colored hair with caramel highlights that was curled to perfection. Her skin tone was a deep chocolate brown and I could see her pearly white teeth when she smiled. She was short and plump, and looked very extravagant. In addition everyone was standing under a huge cream gazebo that stretch from one half of the Boardwalk to the other. After studying the scene for a little while I came to one conclusion. “Oh my gosh! There’s a wedding going over there!” I exclaimed. “Mom… MOM come quick, look there’s a wedding going on over there!”

“Really are you sure?”
“Yes I am, just look right through the telescope!”
As my mom looked through the telescope, I turned and saw Zoë and my dad walking briskly towards us. “Dad, Zoë come quick- look I found a wedding!”
“Can I see?”, she asked as she quickened her pace.
“Sure look right through there.” I told her with confidence, as I pointed towards the eye piece of the telescope.
After a few seconds she said, ”Oh I found it!” Then turned around with her shoulders slumped and said glumly, “The time ran out”.

I told her that maybe we would see them when we went up to Epcot, and I explained to her in great detail of how beautiful it was. I told her how the women were holding bouquets filled with lilies and hydrangeas, wrapped in pink and purple tissue paper. Then, I explained how the color scheme of the bride’s maids looked like the coral from the coral reefs in Australia. Lastly, I looked out in the direction of the wedding and told her how there was a violinist and, from where I was, his music sounded like a whole orchestra because of the scenes beauty.
All in all, you always experience magic in Disney, but when you see someone else experiencing their own magic it’s something that sticks with you. It makes you feel all warm and toasty on the inside like a roasted marshmallow.  That is why this memory is so special, because it was so beautiful, and it truly was just like magic.

This is about a trip that my family and I took. I have been to other weddings before but this one was different. It was a disney wedding and you could focus other peoples happiness instead of focusig on your own. I believe that this memory truly was magical.
