The Legacy
This is a feature article that is about the legacy of My dad Michael. I choose him as the feature person of my article because he is one of the biggest influences on me and my brothers lives. When i had asked him the question what do you think your legacy is? his reply was “Well I believe my legacy is you and your brothers.” I followed that up with the question why do you think this is your legacy? His response was “I believe that this is my legacy because i was taught that legacy meant what you leave behind in the world that changes the world. something like the children that i have and leave in the world.” how this influences me is it tells me that i need to help others and try to make the world a better place. it also means to have a legacy of my own ie children of my own that i can raise to be kind people who can change the world just as i plan to. This not only influences me but it also influences my brothers to change the world and make it a better place. My mother said this to the question why do you think he says thats his legacy. “Well everyone has their own definition of legacy most people have different opinions on what legacy means.” I had asked her questions similar to the ones i asked my father she responded with answers that were similar to what my dad had said to the questions i asked him. overall i got 2 different legacy the one my dad said and my moms version of it. meaning that it was the same thing said differently she stated it as this “His legacy is you and your brothers the things he will leave behind to make the world a better place.” So thats my father's legacy and in some ways my families legacy.
