Life; It’s a beautiful thing, sometimes. In life, you experience a lot different things. Some which are good, but then you have the bad experiences. Everyone has a past. I have a past. Some people’s pasts are good. Mine, it’s not. You see, I live in a world full of people who hate me. I’m a “s***”, in their mind. Why? They believe what they hear. My father has been in jail all my life along with my mother up until she died from a drug overdose. I used to cut myself. I was in a mental hospital for a week for writing a suicide note. People think I’m crazy. There are so many stereotypes and hypocrites in this world. People do things, and then bash other people who do the same exact thing. Why? It makes them feel good about themselves. I used to care so much about what people thought of me. If they told me what I was wearing was ugly, or what I listened to was “dumb”, or that I try too hard, I would change for them when I’ve never even talked to them before. I wanted to fit in, to be like the other kids. I didn’t want to stand out. I didn’t want to be different. I wanted to be cool. I know some of you have felt the exact same at least once. If you haven’t felt that way, then that’s great. Now, I don’t care. Other people’s opinions don’t matter to me. Yes, I’ll listen to them, but if someone is trying to change me, then I won’t listen anymore. I want to be my own person. I want to listen to what I want, dress how I want, and be myself. In life, you have to find someone who will love you, for you. You need someone who will listen to how you feel, be there for you when you need them, make you feel safe, and have endless love with that person. Everyone has a destiny. God put everyone on this earth for a reason, but he wants you to be yourself, and live freely. We accept the love we think we deserve, but everything starts with you finding who you truly are, and being yourself.
