Have you ever got that feeling that is so great you can’t even explain it? Or have you ever met that one person who means alot to you but you didn’t even know them? Well if you haven't all i'm going to say is, it is amazing. The feeling you get inside, the way you know you are just going to click. The way you just stare, and hug each other for so long, realizing you met them, and your so glad you did.

Two or so years ago, I met this lady. She’s nice, caring, huggable, and loving. She just seems like a very nice person. I was so excited to see her. I finally got to meet her after everyone has been talking about her. My mom, my sister, and a little bit my dad. They talk about her and say she is nice, and seems like a great lady. I’ve texted her and she seemed pretty cool. I feel like I can get along with her very well. She is an older lady. Not to old but she is in her 50’s. I like to call this lady my Grandma. We haven’t known this lady for longer than about 2-3 years. My grandma wasn’t really a part of my dads life when he was little. As my dad was growing up he went through foster homes. He had many different families. He was never with his real mom for a long period of time. Knowing he was in foster homes, he didn't keep in touch with his biological mom.

About 3 years ago, we found my grandma. My mom texted and her texted back and forth and finally, after a while of them texting i got her phone number. I loved to text my grandma, it was so great. I got to text her for a couple months. She learned about our family, the people in our family, the things we like to do and many more things. So we talked to my grandma and she said she would love to come up and meet our family. So a couple weeks later my grandma flew up.

The thrill you get when your mom texts you and tell you that she just picked up my grandma, and they’re on their way home. It’s amazing. You just get super excited and you don't know what to do. That’s how I felt. Over excited, thrilled, I felt like i was going to cry. My emotions were so high and crazy. I was so excited that I finally get to meet my grandma. I can’t even explain how I felt. At that point, I was finishing cleaning up and making my house look nice for when she walked in. I didn’t know what she was going to look like. I didn't know if she was going to be tall, short. I didn't know if her hair was going to be curly, or straight, long or short. I just had no idea. All I knew was that I was ready to meet her. I saw them pull up and I was ready.

She walked through the door and I seen her. It was the best feeling in the world. Probably the best feeling I will ever feel. Unexplainable. The wait was finally over. I finally met the lady I was wanting to meet. The thrill, excitement, nervousness, pain, everything I felt was all worth it. Everything we felt was for a good purpose. The chances we took, going beyond things to meet her. The day everyone has been waiting for is here. You feel untouchable. Like you just won an oscar. ( atleast thats how i felt anyways) My family and I were so excited to meet her.

The day she first got there, we learned more about each other and asked any questions we had. We showed her around the house. Of course she was tired because she just flew up for 4 or so hours. So we let her rest. As days went on, it was great. The time we got to spend with her was amazing. She told us about her family back where she lives. She told us about how she loves living where she does. My grandma lives in kansas, right in the middle. So its all farm land. She told us about this guy named Ernie who is my uncle, and this girl named laura who is my aunt. How they have a big Cattle thing. From how my grandma explained them, they sounded like pretty cool people. Nice, loving, caring, respectful and lots more. Her family back home seemed like such great people. I really wanted to meet them. Overall we just love my grandma. She is what i imagined.

The bond that me and my grandma grew was just so great. I loved the time I got to spend with her. Meeting my grandma was the best thing ever. The point where she had to leave was very sad. We, as a family, didn't want her to go but, she had to go back to her home, and the family there. I would have to say, those days that she was here were amazing.
