My First Nuke
5...4...3...2...1...Begin, I told myself.Tyler, you’re a nerd.You’ve got this.
I scurried throughout the map, searching for my victims.
BOOM. Collateral. Two down 23 kills to go.
Don’t think about the nuke, think get the kills first and don’t jinx yourself.
Then it came to me. Mowing down my opponents, the image of a nuke became realistic, the sight, the feelings, and the suspense.
I hit a seven killstreak. So I hide. An 11 killstreak. POW! I screwed people up with my Barrett .50 Cal, 18...19...20...21...22...23...24…
Then, the suspense of the wait and the rage quits. It happened…nuke. It had to happen, a nuke is the important thing. At this point, my life was complete.
The class after the game was poor, and embarrassing. I regretted sending those cruel messages. I can’t really tell you what they were but they were wordy. That match brought the gamer out of me. The power I had was always there, looking back I thirsted for a nukes. Now I have 126 nukes. Boom.
