Troubled People
Sometimes when I feel as if there is no way out, I decide finding my way will involve avoiding the situation at hand. Well, I'm not always right. Avoidance is…. It isn't the way to go, that's for sure. Sometimes, it can definitely go too far.
Sometimes it can eliminate everything good going on in life. Or, it can eliminate life all together. Don't give up, because you feel like it's the last straw. I let the stress beat me up. Stress put me into the hospital. Stress gave me a stomach ache and forced me to drink an entire glass of charcoal.
Stress doesn't like us. It tries to destroy us, but we can't let it win. Life is literally a roller coaster ride. Not all people like roller coasters. I don't like them, but the ride doesn't last too long. You might as well enjoy the ride while it lasts, right? After spending enough time in a mental hospital, I can tell anyone and everyone that it's never the end of the world. Death isn't the answer. Use coping skills to help the stress and worries disappear. Do something, anything positive. Don't give up, don't be a coward, and don't pull a "me."
Ever since my escape from the looney bin, I've felt empowered. Another tough situation occurred just recently, A situation I would normally try to escape from. I wanted to jump off a cliff and die. Guess what…. I couldn't feel better about everything. Want to know how I made the pain disappear? After crying my eyes out for a bit, I used coping skills.
There are too many ways to cope with one's anger when he/she feels as if the boulder of stress, fear, and worry is pinning them to the ground. There are also four main skills used to concur all. Stress Reduction, Getting Real w/Yourself, Reacting Smart, and Listening to be Understood. These are a great way to begin to repair the damages.
I couldn't begin to describe the emotions racing through my mind now that I've decided to better myself. I've been told multiple times that 'life is what you make it'. It really is. It can be as complicated as you want to make it, but you can turn it into something simple as well. There's an entire planet flooded with mystery, wonder, and islands to discover and live on for eternity. That's a dream of mine, not necessarily a goal, but a dream.
I hope that if people read this, not only are people getting the general message, but they are reading between the lines. Think about the consequences of your decision(s), and remember that people are always here to talk to. I'm always here to talk to.
This is my first blog, and I hope people find that what I have to say matters. I'd be more than happy to write more, if people want to give me a topic to write about. This is me saying, "Peace Out".
