My Disney World Travel
“Wait, What?” I asked my Grandma Robin.
“You’re coming with us.” she said.
I sat there freaking out. I had a HUGE smile on my face.
“I get to go to Disney World!” I said.
“Yes, You do. We’ll be leaving in a few weeks.” she replied.
I was dropped off at home. I ran inside and started planning. My nana helped me pack. In no time I was ready. When it was time to go I was wearing Sketchers, a white tank with a unicorn and sparkles on it, and a pink set of shorts, my necklaces, and my sunglasses on a cord around my neck. We drove and Drove; I watched the only place I knew fade away into the unknown. Even though I was going to be gone only 10 days, it was surreal and overwhelming. Each time we stopped I got a souvenir, like a rock or a brochure.
The farther south we got, the hotter it felt. Soon I had to put my Long hair up into a ponytail. When we finally arrived at the condo we were staying at, I was tired of sitting and took a nap on the floor, (remember I was 8 years old at the time). The first day we arrived at the park was amazing, I couldn’t shut up. Everything was so colorful and fun. Even when it was clear skies, sunshine and it started to rain.
After 5 days of nonstop fun, I was ready to return home. Even though we stopped at the Coca-Cola Place in Atlanta, Georgia and drank LOADS of pops from around the world, it was tiring to have endless hours of fun. The trip was unforgettable and set the precedent of my other times away from home.
