diabetic scare

I remember the time I found out that I had to be tested for diabetes. I was so scared when I walked into the clinic with my mom, we were waiting in the waiting room for the nurse to call me back to get my shot. I started crying because for one, I hate shots, and for two, I was scared out of my mind to find out if it was true, if I really had diabetes. As we waited to get called back I tried to contain myself from crying even more. When the nurse called me back, my mom went with me and the nurse told me to sit in the chair where I would be getting my shot. I had to squeeze my mom’s hand because I was terrified of needles. When the nurse gave me my shot, she told me to stay in the room while she went to go give the results to the doctor. The doctor came in after a while of us waiting and he told us that we had to go to the blood lab to find out our results. When we got the lab we had to wait until another nurse came and gave us a paper and the paper said: “Your daughter Natalie Morgan does not have diabetes.” I was so relieved that I did not have it, and I was so happy.
