Child abuse is a big problem in the world but is also brushed under the rug. This happens because a lot of people who should call and report it are the people being abused. There are other people who see it and don’t report it because; they don’t want to make a false judgment about someone and their home life. However many kids are beaten, kicked, slapped, pushed, starved or killed on a daily basis. And it does not help that the child is too scared to speak up for him or herself because they’re scared the abuser will find out about it. So instead of getting help, they just keep the abuse and abuser a secret. They soon start to believe that they deserve to be beaten because the abuser will normally tell them how worthless, stupid, bad, or no good they are. Or, they believe that if they did try to reach out for help no one would believe them or help them. Besides the fact that it’s wrong that if a child is beaten their whole life while growing up and no one tries to stop it or help them, the biggest problems with child abuse is they either try to kill themselves or start abusing drug. They do this because they want the pain to go away. They want to stop the problem. They are not happy with their life and see no use in it. If a child is beaten their whole life and grows up and has their own children, they will start to beat on their kids. It’s a cycle that is really uncontrollable unless they get help. Because a child was beaten, they grow up thinking it was life, and it’s how life works, so they need to do it to their kids. With all the anger that the abused child has at the world for not helping them when they needed it, this is an endless cycle that needs to be stopped.
