Scandalous Uniform Controversies

As the years go by citizens are getting more and more offended and upset about cheerleading uniforms and how lenient coaches are getting with how much midriff is showing and how short the skirts are. Personally I am a cheerleader and I have cheered for the school and for all stars in Kalispell, people do not understand that there are rules about uniforms that we do have to follow and it is different with all stars and high school cheerleading. With high school cheerleading they are very strict with the midriffs showing and length of skirts, but with all stars they are very lenient in the rule book. For example with all stars the top has to at least fall one inch below the bra line and skirts must cover the hips, much different then high school. With high school your midriff MUST be covered and skirts cannot be shorter than two inches above the knee. Every year there are new rules added to the book for high school, because parents and other students are offended by the way we dress. With most parents we understand why they do not like what we wear. I mean short skirts with pretty much another pair of underwear over another and flipping in the air with skirts flying up we could understand why that could be revealing. But we are there to cheer on the team and get the crowd riled up not follow everyone’s expectations with the way our uniforms are, our uniforms our acceptable and appropriate, going by the rule book. But I think our high school uniforms are definitely more appropriate and a little more crowd pleasing then all stars but we as cheerleaders are doing our job of cheering on our teams and getting the crowd to cheer along so please understand that we are out there helping, don’t judge.
