When i was a child
When I was a child I was fearless, I was lighthearted and adventurous. I knew that I could make everyday fun, I didn’t care what people thought of me. I want to go back to that time, where the only drama was that “tommy” stole my blue crayon. That crayon was essential, I would draw the bright blue sky, the raging rivers or deep blue ocean. When I was a child I was quite courageous, I would pick up bees by their wings and pet them in front of my friends. I wanted to hang around my cousin because we would run around and play hide and go seek around our neighborhood. On the first day of summer, the girl down the street and I wanted to be the first to jump into the freezing cold pool. I want to go back to when I was 5, go to school and not care about turning in projects. When I was in preschool and play “pretend laundry”, for some reason it was more fun there than doing it at home. I loved the summer when the days were longer, and we would swim in the pools until our hair turned green. I knew that I could make everyday fun and this is why I loved being a kid.
