Fishing Trip

I felt a pull on my fishing line; I thought to myself, did a fish just go for the bait? The fish eventually went for the bait. After some hard work of pulling on my part and the fishes pulling in the opposite direction than me, the fish finally gave up and let me reel it in. When I got it on the paddle boat, I measured it and it was 21 inches long. I was thinking in my head that it was the coolest thing ever. While on my way home I was on the paddle boat. It was a hard challenge on my part. I was paddling and trying to hold the fish in my hand. It was a big challenge. I could tell it was a massive bass because of the way it looked; I guess the fish thought the bait was really good because it went right for it. I went back and went in the water to see how deep it was. The water was four feet deep! When I was done I let the fish go and went back fishing. After a bit I went to the exact same place where I had just caught my fish. There was another fish right there! Also this fish went for the bait. I tried to reel it in but right as it got close the fish got loose. I thought it was super cool. Also I was thinking about eating the fish but then my dad says that bass is usually a catch and release fish but he said you could still eat it anyways but then I didn’t. That was my favorite trip to my cottage ever. It was a very exciting day. I love going to my cottage now and I wish I could go every day to go fishing up there in the deep blue lake.
