When I was little they called me a liar, but now I'm grown up, they call me a writer.

We slowly draw closer in the enveloping blackness. My porch light illuminates his brown face as we slowly draw closer, collapsing the distance of our night together. Crickets cheer us on in this game of chance, shouting their approval at the score that we both shall obtain in just a few seconds. The warm air places a heavy blanket of absolute around us; our breathing becomes one breath as we clash lips. Our lips rest lightly on clouds, no longer making us two separate entities. A new kind of fire erupts between our locked passions, lighting our experience with a bright light that we did not even know existed. We burn down any doubt in our minds with this towering flame of security. The sounds around us conduct the perfect beat for this pleasant song. I can even hear an A flat. My small lips gently communicate passion with his, slightly eager to meet him on a different ground altogether. His fiery candles instantly torch my soul. The sounds around us stop abruptly to give us privacy. Way off in the distance, violins play in both of our fantasies, never wanting this testament of love to end. We both are blankets rapping up our love for the past, present, and future. As if on perfect queue, we pull away, mouths agape, our breathing soft. We gaze at each other for the longest time, knowing the never-ending bond, the never-ending message that we just told each other. Finally, his lips allow him to speak.

“So what do we do now?”
