Fake Doritos
Doritos are one of the things commonly found at lunch. But imagine when you bite into a delicious Dorito at school, it’s not as delicious as you were hoping it would be. This is because the Doritos are reduced fat. “They are horrible,” said one student. The nutritional difference isn’t significant enough to make the switch. The saturated fat difference is only .5 grams. The calorie difference is only 10. And the sodium difference is only 10 mg. “It’s not worth it,” another student said. The school is taking away great taste for “healthier” chips that will never make a difference. The reduced fat Doritos use lots of artificial flavors and are still very processed. The only healthy difference in the ingredients is that the reduced fat Doritos us skim milk. The school is basically wasting food because most people don’t want to eat the chips, so they will just throw them away. A change needs to be made, we need regular Doritos back.
