How to Procrastinate and Still Get Your Work Done
Homework. Stress. Anxiety. All things that make you sit down and rest your head in your already damp hand from previous tears. Now then, homework is a piece of work that your teacher assigns you, even if you already know that you’re not going to complete it. Not to mention that with each worksheet that you push aside, the pile of unfinished work grows more and more. Making the next time you place a blank paper on the pile harder and more stressful, your trembling body will watch the tall stack of papers swiftly sway back in their place along the wall.
While that’s happening, you might look at yourself for a while and ask yourself how you became like this. How you became such a big procrastinator that doesn’t do anything productive. Well, the answer is simple, you clearly hate doing these bothersome worksheets that never take a minute to stop piling up on your desk.
On the other hand, you might wish to change that part of yourself that makes you push all these papers aside. Making that procrastinator stop will allow your grades to rise from a low or maybe even failing grade. Now this is why you’re here, to learn how to procrastinate but still get your work done. If that’s the case, then you’re in luck, because this paper will tell you all you need to know about how to be a procrastinator and how you can get away with it.
So let’s go over the first couple of steps. You’ll need to know about procrastinating and getting away with it. The first step to this process is to go to your assigned class and look like you’re paying attention when you really aren’t. It gives the teacher the idea that you’re actually paying attention and not thinking about those pizza rolls that you have in the freezer at home. However, this step can be difficult to complete for multiple reasons one of them is having to look the part of an interested student, this is the hardest step because if the class is boring and has a teacher that drives you insane, it’s going to be hard to act as if you’re interested and act like you’re paying attention. Though this can be done by looking directly at the board, and leaning forward in your chair.
Although if you really want the teacher to think you’re paying attention, lay your head in your palm while you’re leaning forward. Next step, is to accept the assignment and look over the rules and requirements. This is to make sure that when you actually start the assignment at the very last second, you’ll have everything that you’ll need in the assignment.
Now then, when you are giving this assignment the very important thing is to keep the assignment in a safe location, just in case you push this assignment off like the others. This is also important, because losing a piece of paper for the assignment is just plain awful. Not only do you have to go up to your teacher and ask for a new one, but the teacher give you this terrible almost terrifying look that says their disappointed in you or that look of what many students might call the ‘motherly look’.
Moving on to the third step, go home and just throw your backpack somewhere on your floor. Making sure that your bag is at least far enough away from you, take out your phone and just play on it until night or until you pass out. Then when the sun rises and the morning birds start to sing, get ready to go to school and don’t fake being sick your teacher will notice if your friends are talking about you playing videogames.
Lastly, when you have about an hour to finish the assignment, this is when you start to work on it. This is because last minute work is sometimes the best of work you’ll ever make, since your brain is working at maximum speed. Then, once you’re done with the assignment, turn it in like you were done with this assignment ages ago. That is how you procrastinate and get away with it.
