Love is a verb that has many different meanings. But. Love is not something you can physically touch. Love is a feeling in your heart. Love is felt though the heart and the senses. Many would argue that love isn’t a physical object you can use your senses on. But I would disagree.

Love is seen though a couple’s embrace or a family having a fun day at the park. Love can be seen by siblings willingly share whatever they have with another. Love can be seen with a couple sitting together just enjoying each other’s company. Love can be seen in a mother comforting a child or a sibling helping an injured brother or sister.

Love can be heard though a sweet phrase given to a spouse or friend. Love can be heard by the comforting words uttered by friend or family. It can be heard when a friend laughs at your corny joke or through a whispered conversation between a couple.

Love is felt though a hug from a friend or family member. Love can be felt though a kiss from a mom or spouse or even a dating couple. Love can be felt for a simple comforting touch in times of need. Love can be felt when you have a shoulder to cry on.

Love has a taste, love tastes of comfort food or a simple dinner date. Love tastes like salty tears being brushed from a face by a companion. Love tastes like sweets or chocolates given by a sweetheart. Love tastes like food offered by a friend when someone doesn’t have a lunch.

Love has a smell. It smells of homemade food or sweets. Love smells like a fancy or casual restaurant someone’s been taken to by their spouse or sweetheart. Love smells like hard work and tears. Love also smells like happiness and companionship.

Finally Love is a feeling of the heart more than anything else. It is in the beating and rhythm of the heart. Love is felt everyday by almost everyone. Love is something uncontrollable but at the same time Beautiful.
