This is one way physical therapists find the best solution for your injury. Becoming a physical therapist can be easy when you have the right education, attitude, and good advantages.

Your Education is Important Too!

Physical therapist help injured people increase their movement and decrease their pain after a serious injury(“Athletico Physical Therapy” 2016). They are located in places like a rehab facility, hospital, or a school. There are different types of physical therapy as well such as wound care, acute care, cardiovascular rehab, etc. Most physical therapist have at least a level 3-year ( DPT) or Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree and at least 6 to 7 years of college. They also have to pass an exam to receive their license.

Good Attitude Means a Good Therapist!

Some physical therapists work Sunday- Saturday, others usually work Monday- Friday. 8 am to 6:30 pm or 7 am to 12 pm.They make about $79,860 dollars a year. There are different signs to know if you are dealing with a good or a bad physical therapist. If they are a good therapist, they listen to you to help figure out what’s going on with your body and how they can help you(“World’s Largest Professional Network | LinkedIn” 2016). They also give you simple exercises to do to help stretch out muscles. If they are a bad therapist, they probably are in a huge rush and don’t listen as much as they need to and  it might be too difficult to make an appointment with them.

What Kind of Advantages do I Get?

Physical therapist get at least a total of $79,860 a year. Helping people everyday is also a huge benefit for physical therapist because they like to help injured people get better(“APTA” 2016). Health plans are fully covered for employees and they get paid on their time off like vacations and sick days,Overall, having a career is essential to your life. As a physical therapist you need to have the right education, attitude, and the good benefits to make a good living off your career. Which career fits you?
