Tick,tick, tick, you hear the clock  in your office while you’re looking through the files of your new patient. As you’re reading, you get more stressed while learning about their violent past. You know all you can do is help them. Being a psychiatrist takes a lot of effort. An educational background but after all that you get to have a large salary with a lot of benefits.


Paid For Helping People 
A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who treats a illness in the mind or brain(mental)and diagnoses a illness,psychiatrist usually do therapy with their patient or group therapy to know about the patient's past and problems to help find new ways to help the patient to figure out  their own problem(“Certified Psychiatrist: Job Description & Requirements”).


Benefits
You will have a lot of benefits  to being a psychiatrist for example social security $10,399 or $6,592 worth of health care  and $13,261 worth of pension they also get an annual salary of  $185,554-$231,626(“Website”; “Salary.com Salary Wizard- Do You Know What You’re Worth?”) but to get that much money you will also need a lot of skills like active listening, social perceptiveness, speaking, critical thinking,reading comprehension, writing judgment and decision making.


Background
To be a psychiatrist you need to be very well educated,you need 4 years of medical school.You also need to get a good score on  Medical College Admission Test which is administrated by the  Association of American Medical Colleges to be a psychiatrist you also need to have a  Bachelors degree in science in boilogy and four years of residency or working at a clerks desk.In total you need 8 years of backround.


Some colleges that offer and education in this field are (“Website”)University of California, University of Pittsburgh of Medical Center,East Carolina University,and Emory School of Medicine(“Psychiatrist: Educational Requirements for Psychiatrists”).  
                                           

Conclusion       
In conclusion I would like to be a psychiatrist it will take a lot of work like going to  school for  yours and a couple more years for experience i also need to know a set of skills and a very good salary with a lot of benefits I also know I would be happy doing this job.
