Have you ever wanted to fly, and get paid to do it? To earn something like this will be hard to get, I understand that. But with the amount of work I am willing to put in to become a pilot, it’s possible. This job is something I have already been working towards for a good part of my life already by going to several camps in the summer related to learning more about aviation. My dream job is to become a pilot because I want to have a reason to get up in the morning; I want to be able to provide for my family, and most of all I want to “Fly”.
First of all, I want a reason to get up in the morning. Being a pilot can be achieved by anyone, you just have to put the work toward it and have a passion for it. To put the work towards this career comes with the passion for the job. For example, it takes a lot of time because to be able to fly a major airline jet, you have to have a minimum amount of flight hours. The minimum amount of flight hours is 1,500 for most airlines. This takes a lot of patience and time to achieve, but once you have gotten that many flight hours, your rewards are great. You can basically become a pilot for any major airline with that many hours. This would be just amazing for someone like me. This would give me a reason to get up in the morning. What I mean by this is that most people wake up in the morning and dread going to work. They dread going to work because their job is just something they rather not do, but it pays the bills so they have to stick with it. That is something I do not want to experience. If I get the chance to have this dream job, it would not be a job at all. It would be something that I love doing and also get paid for.
Secondly, I want to be able to provide for my family. The way I could provide for my family is by achieving this dream job. If I become a pilot for a major airline, I would be able to get paid more than enough to live in luxury and be able to support my family. Pilots get paid about one hundred to two hundred thousand dollars a year depending on their seniority. The longer you are in the business, you get paid more. By getting this job, I would be getting paid for something I love doing. I would love to do this because I get to meet new people every day. And this job also comes with a bonus. The bonus is that they get to retire early. They get to retire early because when you get older your senses deteriorate. Which would make it harder to fly an airplane. Along with more of a chance of an accident happening. So they are forced to retire ate the age of sixty.
Finally, I want to “Fly”, I want to travel the world. If you were to ask me, what would your super power be if you could have one. I would say, “I want to fly.” I would choose this because I know I would love doing it. Just the fact that my job would be above the clouds, literally. This would be such a remarkable feeling. If I become a pilot I could do this, along with going all around the world all of the time. I would also get free flights to new places. Which means I can go anywhere for vacation, a new place every time. I could travel the world and get paid to do it! Along with this, I also love aviation and the people behind it. Aviation is one big community, everyone knows each other and they are all there willing to help one another achieve their goals. I have already gotten a lot of flight experience. I have flown helicopters, planes, and gliders. I have met many people in the aviation industry and know what it’s like to be a pilot. Being a part of this group of people and being able to fly with them would be my dream. Because not only do I get to be with amazing people, I also get to “Fly”.
In conclusion, my dream job is to become a pilot because I want to have a reason to get up in the morning; I want to be able to provide for my family, and most of all I want to “Fly”. This is important, because it shows the amount of work you need to put towards your goals. It also shows that you can achieve those goals. I am on track to achieving my goals by going out of my way to learn more about aviation. Along with something to strive for, your work won’t seem that hard. Especially if you strongly believe you can. So A career in aviation is my dream job, whats yours? And are you willing to work for it?
