Boys are like headaches. They come and go thinking it is okay to leave without saying goodbye. Sometimes, they even weigh you down making it hard to escape. Every girl has different love stories. Some love stories are great and some are horrible. If there’s one thing I know about love it’s the fact that there is no relationship that will occur without having some cracks in the road. In my opinion, trust and jealousy are both huge issues that one might have a problem with in the relationship. Sometimes you can’t help, but really like a guy. Someone who treats you like a princess, looks at you like an angel, and shows you the Eiffel tower. This guy will be the one for you to call at 1 in the morning, and lie to say he’s not tired just to talk to you. He will be the one to hold your hand when things get bumpy. I didn’t say a name, but you thought of that one particular guy didn’t you? Don’t be fooled, love might make you feel like you’re living in a fantasy, but it can also bring you back to reality. It might be hard to accept, but the truth can hurt. It’s the little things that matter. One second he gives you a different view of life, and then the next he brings you back to where you started. Heartbroken. Don’t get me wrong but it’s the circle of life. There will always be obstacles to face when in relationships. It’s a factor of love that we all have to live with. What is love without cracks in the road, right? There is no way a true love relationship can be perfect because everyone has their own flaws. Whether it being getting jealous easily, having trust issues, or not admitting the truth. Whatever it is, just stay strong and keep faith because the world doesn’t need another girl crying into her pillow which smudges her mascara. To wrap this all up, Marilyn Monroe once said “I’m selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as heck don’t deserve me at my best.”

It took me a while to write this short essay, but teenage love inspired me to write this.
