The Banquet
St. Dominic's Catholic Church had a banquet with food to buy and a dance to attend. It was on September 13 and it was to raise money for a man in mexico that needs money to pay for injuries he has, that are very expensive. And it’s even worse over there in Mexico, because its much more expensive for them.
Many people had attended and it was a very successful banquet. You would come in for free, but would have to pay money for the food. Many people donated food, salads, and drinks. “The food was very good, so the price fit it well,” said people from the banquet. This was very helpful towards the cost.
When the banquet was just ending, they started to put a band to play and you would have to pay to attend that. People danced and played to the music. This made it much more fun for people and kids to attend. This was a very fun and helpful way for the community in Bremen to help this church, with helping other people.
