The principal has changed recess for the kids. The 7th and 8th grade don’t get to have recess. This is in the school year of August 18, 2014. At Bremen Elementary and Middle school, the principal thinks he should treat them like respected adults. But most of the kids aren’t happy about that. Some want to get out and exercise. And some just want to hang out, outside.
Jesica Zarinana says she doesn’t like this because they’re in school 7 hours and we should get out and stretch. Taylor Richards said he doesn’t like it because he likes to exercise and he doesn’t want to get fat. Destiny Turner says she doesn’t like this because she believes everyone needs a little fresh air.
According to all studies people like going to play outside rather than sit down listening to a teacher yelling at them inside. The teacher yells at the kids for being too loud and if she doesn’t want them to yell, take them outside.
