My Trip to Palm Springs With My Family
I woke up feeling kind of sick and not wanting to do anything. My family told me that we were going to go as a family to Palm Springs. This was our first time going to Palm Springs and you know how first time-things are. I grunted and tried to show attitude which my family clearly picked it up. My brother told me to grow up and that kind of brought me back to the present. I got dressed and tagged along with them. The car ride was pretty long- around an hour or two. I kept asking my parents, "are we there yet?" I did not get a response from my parents, but what I did get was a, "shut up," from my brother. We had arrived and started to walk around town. I noticed that Palm Springs is actually a really small place. There was some event going on where lots of tents were set up and people were scattered everywhere. Anyways, my family and I got hamburgers at this one restaurant and they were delicious. After that, we drove around and saw some of the houses famous people lived in like Franks anatra. We had spent around five or six hours and decided that it was time to leave. The drive home wasn't nearly as bad as the drive there because we had food in our stomachs and I had lost my temper from being forced to go. First time things are always rough, but I would be down to go back to Palm Springs whenever we get the chance to, it was great!
