My Life of Dance
Haven’t you ever thought about what you wanted to be when you're older? Well I do. When I grow up, I’ve always wanted to be a fashion designer, who doesn't want to sew clothes and sell them all across the world? If I had to pick five places or cities where I would live, it definitely would be New York , Los Angeles , Paris or London. Not only would I be a designer, but I will be making myself famous by doing what I love...Dancing.
But don’t worry 1I would be in school, the school that I will be going to is called Juilliard. Juilliard is a dance school. I love that they have made a school for dance. This might sound kind of crazy, but some of the music artists that are now famous have been to juilliard too. Its pretty hard getting into juilliard because you have to impress the judges and show that you're an advanced dancer and so juilliard is a good school for me. Even though I would be really far away from home, I would still be having and living the life. If I get into Juilliard, everyday after school me and my friends would hang out and do fun stuff. I’m pretty sure I will have lots of friends because i'm a really crazy and funny person. I had lots of friends but I thought I would be lonely and not have any friends. Usually the first day of school is rough, but since my current school is such a good school, that didn't happen. At Juilliard, I would show the best of my dancing because that's basically what they're asking for. I hope some of my friends go there because I know lots of people that love to dance. One quote that I love about dance is: ‘’In dance you can find yourself and lose yourself at the same time”. I really think that when I dance I can express myself more than I could in any other sport. At Juilliard, you can go out to eat for lunch instead of the school lunch or packed lunches. If one my friends would go to Juilliard or if I have a best friend there, we would go to lunch together and eat the best lunch. One thing that I like about Juilliard is that it’s in New York and New York is probably the best place in the world. Not saying that it never sleeps.
Even though this does not relate to Juilliard, if I had to pick three of my hundreds of wishes, one would be to meet Rihanna. Rihanna and I have so much in common... it’s weird. We were both born in February, we are 2 days apart, and of course we have the same zodiac sign:,Pisces, if you have no Idea what a Pisces is, it is two fish and it means the sun.You have to be a Pisces if your birthday is February 19 to March 20. And in Chinese, a Pisces mean a snake so that’s why every year it’s called the year of the snake. I don’t know what it was but I have loved Rihanna a long time. If I met her, we would probably get along very well. But the only problem is, she is twenty-five and we couldn't do much because I’m a kid and she is basically a grown women.
Anyway,Juilliard does all types of dance,it does modern dance, jazz, ballet, and contemporary. I don't really like contemporary but my favorite dance is jazz. I love jazz because it’s not slow but its not it's not fast. Lots of famous people get famous by either singing or acting, but I think I will get famous by dancing. A few years ago, I was in a dance company called Danceworks. So, it was basically for the youth. We went all over the place dancing. We went to Cathedral Square for the Christmas lights, South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center, and last out of hundreds of other places, the Bradley Center. Since we were in the company, they gave us passes to go see Savion Glover, the man who did the tap dancing for”HappyFeet”. It was so fun. Another dance company I was just recently in is called Signature Dance Company. It’s a really nice dance company but it’s also really intensive. They work you so hard until you feel like crying. But I guess that’s what you gotta through when you want to get in Juilliard. My mom also dances and teaches with this dance company, but I don't anymore.
One day, I will dance with the best dancers and have a great life. I really think I have the moves to be in Juilliard.Let’s just say that I’m one of those children that acts like I’m rich.
P.S Juilliard is expensive.
