The stains above me remind me of your love. Your fragile skin broke under all the pressure from peers. Easily molded and easily deceived. Acceptance from others is all that you craved. Two open arms are what I provided. Shelter from the storms outside. Two arms filled with care. Two arms that said "you're perfect" with each embrace. The lines that matched yours perfectly. My words could've never protected you. You were fixated on deceiving yourself,so that's what you did. You lied to yourself about who truly cares and who's not there. You fed me lies instead of love. You manipulated me into seeing the world your own way. You changed my body from a smooth, caring place, into a barren wasteland. You filled my mind with danger and doubts. My gaze, once warm and inviting had turned broken and cold. My heart was filled with the lies of "I love you" and few evidence supporting that. Believing that love was ignorance and mistreatment with few heartfelt moments. Your life was broken. You were drawn to those who mistreated you. Your heart craved lies and torture, seeking perfection. The day I came into your life will forever be known as the day the angel met the sinner. The day my life was spun around and upside down, never to return to it's original state. Your love was a beautiful story that quickly turned dangerous. The stains above me remind me of your love.
