Did you know that there are over 450 species of sharks. Or that the great white, tiger, bull, and hammer head sharks are the most feard by humans. Even though sharks mistake you as seals. The whale shark is the biggest. The smallest shark is the dwarf shark. The whale shark as I already said is the biggest, it can get about 40 feet long (about the size of a school bus). The dwarf shark as I already said is the smallest, it can get about 6 inches long (that is about the length of your hand. A shark egg is called a purse. The great white is the most known. A tiger shark is known to eat anything, like a set of bongos was even found in a tiger shark. Bull sharks are known to swim up rivers. Sharks can’t swim backwards like other fish can. Hammer heads can get a tan. Sharks have to swim all time in order to breath (yes that means that they even swim in their sleep). People cut of sharks’ fins to make soup. A shark’s skin is like a bunch of sharp teeth. A shark can have up to 7 rows of teeth. Once a shark looses a tooth then the ones behind that one move up. A shark does not have eye lids so when they attack they roll their eyes back in to their sockets to protect their eyes.
