Have you ever

Have you ever felt that you are worthless and that you will never be as good as the other girls are? Have you ever felt that you are ugly and not wanted? Have you ever felt that if you skipped just one more meal, you would finally be skinny enough to go to school and not be judged? Here’s to all of you that have come home from school crying because you don’t feel pretty enough. Here’s to all of you that skip meals to lose a few pounds. Here’s to all of you that spend hours every morning in front of the mirror. You are so stunning the girls that judge you are so jealous that don’t know what to do with themselves. You are shimmering with a tremendous amount of light inside you. You are a unique girl that no one could ever recreate. Always stay strong, and always look ahead and not back. Never look in the mirror and list the things you don’t like about yourself. Instead, list the things you like about yourself. All of a sudden the way you see yourself will change. You will start to see an alluring girl staring back at you. Pretty soon you will go to school and are able to keep your head up. You will be able to walk into class and laugh at the people making fun of you. Keep your head up!

As you enter or continue your teenage years, don’t worry about the small petty things. Instead, worry about enjoying every second of it. Don’t try to impress boys by playing dumb, it doesn’t work like that. It’s not worth it. And if you don’t have a boyfriend, don’t fret my girl. It’s not worth it and it will happen in its own time. So for now, keep your head up and enjoy life. Go to the beach with your friends and wear that bikini, because you can. Go to the movies and cry at the sad parts, because you can. Go to that dance and wear a pretty dress, because you can. Make as many friends as you can, and remember every single memory you make. And never ever forget how beautiful you are, inside and out. You are extraordinarily beautiful. You are you, and don’t change for anyone. Not even yourself.

I wanted to express the beauty in girls that they dont seem to see when they look in the mirror.
