A black sky with yellow flecks.

They’re just waiting to shine in all their glory; waiting for the day when they become gold. Hope for a day when darkness does not befall this world.

But something causes them to lose their gleam.

Pain, sadness, agony, sorrow…

Suffering in all its blazed glory can strip even the brightest specks of their heavenly shine. But somewhere deep down a glimmer remains. Stronger it burns as time goes by.

Believe it or not: time, is a shimmer’s best friend. The two, they always need each other. The two, they will always be together.

In light and in darkness, the two collide, to light up the northern sky.

What a lonely life…drifting alone.

Remember to shine, you fledgling stars.

I love stars. During the second part of my senior year, lots of ugly obstacles came out. As a result, this piece was formulated and dedicated to all of my wonderful friends.
