There are reasons why being a vegetarian is healthier than being a carnivore, and there are reasons why being a carnivore is healthier than being a vegetarian.  Let us look at both sides why people think as they do. 9

People should not be vegetarian. The first reason why people should not be vegetarian is because eating meat is not a crucial or unethical thing; it is a natural part of the cycle of life. “Vegetarian mistakenly elevates the values of animals’ life over plant. Every organism gets killed or dies at some point so other organisms can live” (Jensen). Another reason people should not be vegetarian is because eating meat has been an essential part of human evolution for 2.3 million years “the inclusion of meat in the ancestral diet provided a dense part of nutrients and protein that when combined with high calorie and low nutrient”(J Christaphor). The third reason why people should not be vegetarian is because meat is the most convenient protein source available: “In one serving meat provides all the essential amino acids as well as essential nutrients such as iron, zinc and B vitamins” (National Cattlemen's Beef Association). People should not be vegetarian for all these reasons.

People should become vegetarian. The first reason why people should become vegetarian is because eating meat could cause high cholesterol and heart attacks. “Animals are sentient beings that have emotions and social communication studies show that cattle, pigs and chicken and all warm blooded animals can feel pain and stress” (Temple . Another reason why people should become vegetarian is because human anatomy has evolved to support a primarily vegetarian diet. “Humans do not have a large or long mouth, pointed teeth of carnivores. Humans teeth are short and flat for chewing fibroid foods” (Mills). tThe final reason why people should be vegetarian is because a vegetarian diet delivers complete nutrition and provides health benefits “according to the American dietetic association a vegetarian diet can meet protein requirements, provide all the essentials amino acids, and improve health”(Source). 31% of the world's population is vegetarian (Source). People should be vegetarian.

There is a  solution to vegetarians vs carnivores called flexitarian. That is when you eat some meat like red meat maybe once a week or once or twice a month, so you can eat some meat, but not alot of it (GAllagher). There are many reasons on which one is better for you being vegetarian and being a carnivore, so maybe a blend is the best solution.
