To see the determination, purity and loyalty gloat in the wind.. Among the sun beams, with a gulp of fresh air, is a constant reminder of the freedom our flag stands for.

The red tells us to persevere through hard times because citizens of other countries battle poverty, suppression, and uncertainty of the next day. We step outside to wait for the bus and go to work or walk to the park with our freedom; don’t take it for granted.

Crisp white reminds us of how blessed we are to live in a fair democracy. Our government lets us speak our mind freely through any medium, positive or negative. Allowing us to contribute in any way we see fit.

The blue shows us that our country and those in it have a loyalty deeper than the seas surrounding us. No matter how bad America seems, our country is always protected by an undefeated group of men and women.
As a young woman, I tilt my head high to the red, white, and blue that flies above me and I know that I am lucky to call America my home.
