Homework was always a burden to a student- it was the cause of falling grades and piling stress. I, for one, never supported the idea of homework. That's why "We Need Less Homework" by Aidan Robinson appealed to me so much. The article spoke for all students facing struggles as they tried to keep up their 99.9 GPA's. I fully agreed with Robinson's claims, for homework was a barrier- it prevented us from completing our extracurricular activities and engage in our personal hobbies. I had never accepted the idea of homework, although the "good-student" inside me claimed that homework allowed me to grasp a better understanding of what I learned. However, it never has and this article has further convinced me so. I strongly believe in following Finland's steps to improve our flawed education system.
