on dropping bombs
I disagree with Francesca Ciampa when she wrote about the use of bombs to kill people. In her article, "on dropping bombs," Ciampa claims bombs are dropped by "demons [and] devils." However, sometimes lethal force is vital to protect the people you love, or in the case of governments, its citizens. Terrorists determined to kill Americans by any means necessary are a very real threat. How is the United States supposed to protect itself? Eliminating the threat with minimal American casualties can be achieved by dropping bombs. Although Francesca believes bombs should never be dropped, sometimes it is necessary for protection.
