In the writing titled “Going Online vs. Going Outside” written by Sandra S, her writing about excessive internet usage left me feeling like I should go outside.  I strongly agree with the statement, “attempt to satisfy my inner voice through excessive internet use”.  I see this issue in my own life; why would I want to go outside when I can just look at videos of the outside on Youtube?  I also agree with her statement, “The stimulus is gratifying . . . going outdoors, spending time with family, doing a little yard work? That would require too much planning and effort”.  People now-a-days are used to having everything done for them, so they are unwilling to go outside and mow the lawn, when they could just pay someone else to do it for them.  I think overall the author makes good points about how teens, and people in general are too dependent on technology.
