Miranda Wheeler could not have communicated her thoughts about the tragedy in Newtown any better in her article “Remembering Newtown.” Seeing how much this massacre affected our nation, I can't imagine how she felt being from Connecticut. Her words were genuine and completely from her heart. “Children are filled to
the brim with untainted innocence and ­simplicity,” she said.
I could feel her sadness in her words as she explained how these kids were robbed of their lives. I could not agree more that if this event cannot force our country to change, then what hope is there? Thank you, Miranda, for sharing your strong yet moving opinion.
