Pat Tang courageously shares his opinion on teenagers feeling the need to drive luxury cars in his points of view piece, “Minivan Superfan.” He discusses how even though some teens are obsessed with the type of car they drive, he is happy with his mom’s old van. “It gets me from point A to point B,” Tang said.

Tang later mentioned how his friends ridiculed his car, but then asked for a ride in it. In a way they used him just to get a way of transportation. I agree with Tang that it does not matter what type of car you drive in high school. Teens are lucky enough to have a car, and not have to walk. More teens need to stop complaining what they do not have, and be grateful for the things that they do.
