silencing pain
There's a pain I endure, that you have given me
It's sharp and alienates me from the rest
I think about the right time to stand and the perfect time to sit
I fabricate a fictitious smile despite my alarming pain
I have learned that the shadows and the rain, my fall and my gain
are not produced from my hands
in fact, they are produced from yours
so thank you for letting me realize that I am the tormentor inside
 Because of the hurt within
I no longer feel a constant pain
So this success of mine goes to I, the tyrant, I have silenced my pain.
