2021 Page Turner Awards

The Page Turner Awards are delighted to introduce their Young Writer Award, open to any writer aged 18-25, with a completed manuscript in any genre.

This is a fantastic opportunity for young writers to get their work noticed by professional experts, including literary agents and publishers who can help them launch their career.

High-value support prizes are up for grabs to help writers to develop their writing career, such as publishing contracts and audiobook production. You can browse the full list of prizes here.

If you do not have a completed manuscript, but would still like to enter your writing, you can enter the Writing Mentorship Award, where a panel of four different judges will read your work. If you’re selected as a winner, you will be mentored by one of the judges to help you get your writing finished.

Success stories from last year's awards include three writers winning literary representation, six writers winning a writing mentorship, five writers winning a publishing contract and 13 independent authors winning an audiobook production.

This year, Page Turner Awards hopes to build on their previous successes, and especially to shine a light on finding and celebrating talented young writers.

The team at Page Turner Awards passionately believes talented writers can be from any background, age, race, religion, or interest. With their new Young Writer Award, Page Turner Awards intends to support and showcase talented young writers at this early stage of their career and beyond.

The judging panel is carefully comprised of industry professionals who share this vision. Young Writers who enter this award will be lucky enough to have their writing read by this fantastic panel of judges.

Literary agents such as Analieze Cervantes, and publishers like Elaine Bousfield and Rosemarie Hudson, are keen to help launch successful careers for young writers.

The panel also features some influential voices in supporting young writers, such as Editorial Manager of Young Writers website, Jenni Harrison. Plus Riya M. Cyriac, Founder of the Young Writers Initiative, and Manoj Padaiyachi, who was named National Youth Champion Awardee by Involunteer.
