1) Create or login to your Teen Ink account

2) Submit your essay to the "Educator of the Year" article category

3) Select "Submit Now" and you're done!

DEADLINE: May 3, 2024

GUIDELINES

Nominee/Educator Information:

- Nominees must work in a middle or high school, grades 8 - 12

- We will collect your nominee's information (name/school/etc.) once we determine a winner. You will need to provide this information when we contact you if you win.

Nominator/Student Information:

- Ensure you frequently check your email that is associated with your Teen Ink account in May 2024. We will contact winners this way and will need to get your nominee's contact information from you. Winners will be announced in May 2024 and featured in our June 2024 issue.

- Must have a Teen Ink account and be age 13-19 to nominate someone

Essay/Submission:

- No inappropriate content

- Essay should be 250-500 words

- Make sure you submit your essay to the Educator of the Year category. You can find this by selecting "Article" > "Nonfiction" > "Educator of the Year"

- Give examples with specific details for why your nominee should win!
