In "Profanity in Teen Ink" in the October issue of "Teen Ink", I was shocked by Colin Weinshenker's opinion on profanity and censorship in "Teen Ink". I'm on the fence when it comes to his opinion, because some words are acceptable in writing, while other profanities are inappropriate to say. I am surprised to hear of a teenager publicly address this issue. In my school, I do see the same issue, is there really a difference between saying s*** and poop? No, there isn't, but accepting profanities in modern English language is an idea beyond reality.
