She dried all of my tears whenever I cried
She hugged me close to her when I felt scared
She always knew when I lied
No matter what happened, she always cared
When I couldn't understand anything
When pure confusion was all I knew
When my entire world was spinning
I always knew I could turn to her
When things weren't what they were supposed to be
She tried to make everything alright
There was no time when she didn't love me
She has been my mentor, my love, my light
She washed away every speck of denial
She made life a little more worth while
