I am slowly falling away from hope

There is a vast darkness surrounding me

The problems hang my spirit by a rope

They tell me to die and then I'll be free

During the night the guilt and crying strikes

The demons come out when I strike my skin

It eats away at my brain like a shrike

My life's like a string and it's getting thin

Will anyone even care if I left?

The numbers on the scale keep going down

Is taking my life considered a theft?

When I need help the most no one's around

I wonder if it's worth it anymore

Now that daily life has become a chore
