It's Black Lives Matter not all lives matter.

Every life isn't being torn away.

The sound of gunshots now sound like clatter,

Because we hear the same thing everyday.

It's our dead bodies and blood in the street.

Their ignorance blinds them from the harsh truth.

But, we can't show any sign of defeat.

We can only teach our elders and youth.

We're working for justice for everyone.

Murderers are supposed to go to jail.

This is true no matter who holds the gun.

We have to keep working, we cannot fail.

Black Lives Matter is a call to action,

Do not think it's an overreaction.
