The cloudless moon shines bright when he is near
It is reflected by his golden hair
Oh why was it so hard for him to hear
Didn't he know how much I truly cared?
My love was like fire that burned in the night
But then put out by the ice in his heart
I don't know why my love was such a fright.
And I'm sad as I know we'll have to part.
How can fate be so horrible to me;
Never forgiving, never relenting
Forcing us to live in this tragedy.
In this cold night, I was left here standing
Alone forever with nothing to say
My love for you slowly drifted away
